DIETA PREPARATION & POST DIETA COMMITMENTS
One of the most important aspects of the master plant dieta is following the time-honored tradition of a restricted diet and not engaging in specific activities before and after your time with us. This is to prepare and nurture the mind, body, and spirit for the powerful energetic work to be done.
Preparing Your Inner Soil
Just like when planting a seed to grow a healthy plant, it is necessary to prepare the soil; remove impurities, and nurture it with nutrients. To allow your inner soil to thrive takes awareness of what you consume and engage with physically, mentally, and emotionally before your diet.
If you arrive with us having prepared and nurtured yourself, the work you do here will be able to go deeper and produce far stronger and more resilient roots.
Post Dieta Commitments
The post diet commitments, a set of specific instructions given to you by the maestros about which foods and behaviors to abstain from for up to 6 weeks after the diet, are an essential part of the diet. Following these restrictions is a commitment you make to yourself, to your plant and to your maestros. The post diet period helps to integrate the healing energy of the plants, ayahuasca, and all the energetic vibrations the maestros have imprinted in you. It is essential to continue the diet once you have left us to ensure the Ikaros and plant remedies you have received are given sufficient time to integrate, cleanse, and heal. According to the maestros, the dieta is not complete until the post diet commitments have been fulfilled. They say that if the dieta could be compared to taking a University Course, completing the post diet is like taking the final exam. If you don’t pass the exam, you have to redo the course to earn the credit.
Your Journey Continues
The dieta doesn't start when you arrive or end when you leave. Your relationship with the plant spirit begins before arrival and, in many cases, continues for life. The more care and attention you bring to this relationship, the stronger the bond, the clearer the wisdom shared, and the easier the integration.
Plants communicate through vibrational energy and are incredibly sensitive to their environment and the vibrations of humans around them. With this in mind, we encourage you to:
Seek loving and nurturing environments pre and post-dieta
Engage with loving thoughts and actions
Cultivate seeds of joy within
Find pleasure in creativity
View any challenges from dietary and sexual restrictions as part of the healing—a gift to yourself
